Musing by the Riverbank

Caelis Galería is pleased to present Musing by the Riverbank, the inaugural large-scale contemporary art group exhibition at our new M50 space. The exhibition brings together fifteen artists from Spain, Argentina, the United States, Norway, the United Kingdom, France, Japan and Korea, creating a rich dialogue across continents and artistic traditions.

As the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus wrote, no man ever steps in the same river twice. Everything flows, and nothing stays. The exhibition takes this profound observation as its point of departure, inviting viewers to contemplate the passage of time and the nature of existence while immersed in the beauty of contemporary art.

The diverse range of artistic voices represented in Musing by the Riverbank reflects Caelis Galería’s ongoing commitment to presenting work that speaks across cultural boundaries — from the figurative and fantastical to the abstract and introspective. Each artist brings their own response to the exhibition’s themes, creating a multi-layered exploration of what it means to be present, to change, and to endure.

Caelis Galería 恪理画廊荣幸呈现 M50 新空间首个大型当代艺术群展——「在川之畔」，邀请来自西班牙、阿根廷、美国、挪威、英国、法国、日本和韩国等多个国家的十五位当代艺术家共同参与。

展览以此为出发点，邀请观众在感受艺术之美的同时，共同思考时间与存在的永恒哲学命题。
