July 11 – 13, 2025
Since its founding in 2000, Art Santa Fe has annually drawn galleries and collectors from around the globe. Beyond its 85+ exhibiting galleries, the fair encompasses Art Labs, the Spotlight Program, and live talks — all complemented by a robust digital platform that fosters interaction between galleries, artists, and collectors worldwide.
Designated by UNESCO as a Creative City, Santa Fe, New Mexico is internationally renowned for its rich craft traditions and vibrant folk art scene. Its cultural atmosphere and gallery landscape hold a unique allure. The fair coincides with Santa Fe Art Week, during which galleries and cultural institutions present lectures, workshops, tours, and multidisciplinary events — establishing the city as a globally-minded hub for contemporary art.
For its debut at Santa Fe Art Fair, Caelis Galeria presents two highly representative Spanish artists whose works converge in a poetic visual language of unconscious dreamscapes and innocent authenticity — transcending cultural boundaries to convey love and imagination across multiple dimensions.
August Vilella — Booth B101
August Vilella is celebrated for his signature unconscious painting technique. Through exquisitely detailed classical brushwork, he renders mysterious anthropomorphic characters inhabiting inner cosmic universes. His work has been enthusiastically received worldwide, merging the aesthetic spirit of traditional Spanish art with the artist’s long-standing immersion in Japanese culture and his philosophical sensibility toward nature. This presentation features new works that extend his distinctive visual language, marking his first use of oil on wood panel as a medium for expressing the poetics of dreamscape.
Eva Armisén — Booth B302
The globally acclaimed female artist Eva Armisén constructs through gentle, healing pictorial language a magical world rooted in everyday life. Her canvases are populated by whimsical figures and warm, tender words rendered in delicate brushstrokes — conveying profound emotion and philosophical reflection on daily existence. Her work has earned widespread recognition among collectors and audiences across Europe and Asia. At Santa Fe Art Fair, she brings a body of warmly endearing paintings that respond to the world’s deep longing for tenderness and connection.
